This national park is full of wildlife. There is a huge variety of animals there, some that live on land, others in the water. Two of their most popular sea animals are Puffins and Orcas. The most popular land animals are the bears. Although this may be a scary animal to most people, if you stay calm around the bear, the bear will do the same. Kenai Fjords also has bear aware rules that keeps people safe from getting attacked. There are many other animals around the community, most of which are sea animals. Some of these animals are seals, bald eagles, polarbears, shorebirds, otters, moose, whales, dolphins, porpoises, sea lions, fish, sharks, and mountain goats. There are also other types of land animals. The national park also protects animals, mostly ones that are becoming extinct or rare to find. They mostly protect the whales and otters because they are hunted in many parts of the world. You get to see all of the animals while hiking, taking a boat tour, or kayaking.
