Kenai Fjords National Park contains an impressive array of places that reflect the history, cultural richness, and changing relationship between people and the environment. The park protects and reserves these places. Most of the places they reserve are Native American campsites, artifacts, and graves. The park reserves these places for many reasons, but the two main ones are: Its part of American history, and two, because Native Americans were the first people to establish Kenai Fjords. Kenai Fjords was completely established in the 1980s, but the Natives were the first to live on the premise. The park also reserves the culture the Native Americans used. There are still all these places you could even see if you go to the park!
