The National Park consists of many different kinds of biomes and weather. Some of these biomes include Glaciers, Harding Icefields, Alpine mountains, various rivers, and icey waters. Kenai Fjords is also bordered by the Pacific Ocean. This park’s most popular visited biomes are the Exit Glaciers, and the Harding Icefields. Both of these biomes have the same weather conditions, rain and snow. Other places, such as the Alpine mountains, get only rain and sunshine. The weather conditions also change during the seasons, like in the winter. In the winter it definitely snows on the Alpine Mountains during that specific season. Since Alaska doesn’t get much sunshine and mostly snow, most of the rivers and lakes there are covered over in ice. An example of this is the Harding Icefields. They used to be lakes and rivers, then over the course of time, converted into a field of ice. Overall, the weather changes and biomes there are pretty cool to look at.
